Project „KIFISIA IKE – AniMar“, Project code: IN1GB-0039118, financed under the INTERREG V-A Cooperation Program INTERREG V-A "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020" in the fifth invitaion of gethering project iniatives, Subsidy contract№ B5.3d.21/30.11.2020.
The Project is acomplisheb by partnership between KIFISIA IKE, Greece and AniMar-KL Ltd., Bulgaria.
The complex of investment activities within the project is to connect achieving growth through better positioning, increasing revenues and maintaining market shares in the sector restaurants and food related to. The services provided by the restaurant sector and the offering of delicious meals for the development of tourism as it enables a travel experience for all tourists and is also an important attraction for them. The project also creates all the prerequisites for an adequate effect in the promotion of the tourism industry and the agro-food sector in the cross-border region. Project cooperation will benefit economic development in the cross-border region by increasing production, labor income and employment.
The implementation of the project has adequate benefits: using existing knowledge to create immediate value, economic results and new jobs; bringing new knowledge to the food sector in the cross-border region; developing the networking, dissemination and efficient use of the network of knowledge produced by the economy; support for competitiveness, extroversion, internationalization of entrepreneurial efforts and binding of business efforts in the cross-border region; preservation and strengthening of human resources in the cross-border area.
The objectives of the project within the investment plan are: Increasing employment opportunities in two enterprises; increasing the production capacity of the Lead Beneficiary Enterprise by incorporating new technologies related to larger volumes of production; increases the capacity of SMEs in the cross-border area participating in the investment plan and access to new markets and expansion of their economic activity; reducing service costs; exchange of experience and know-how, leaders to increase the capacity of both enterprises to achieve the strategic goals for the development of the companies; operational partnership between the two enterprises, built in the process of training and increasing the capacity of the newly created enterprise.

Expected results:
– increased competitiveness of SMEs in the Bulgarian-Greek border area through implementation of the investment plan;
– improved capacity of SMEs to expand beyond local markets through the established cross-border cooperation and the implementation of the investment plan;
– contribution to the growth of existing SMEs in the cross-border area by expanding economic activity to new markets;
– positive impact on the two beneficiary enterprises;
– created opportunities for work in the cross-border area and creation of new jobs;
– better market positioning for both and exchange of significant experience in the food sector
Expected products:
– 2 supported enterprises for the implementation of the investment plan;
– new jobs created in Bulgaria;
– new jobs created in Greece;
– completion of the food hall and kitchen, design of a conference area, vertical layout of the building and furnishing of reception and service activities for "AniMAR-KL" EOOD
– repair works for the investment site for KIFISIA IKE
– new machines and equipment for the place of investment for "AniMAR-KL" EOOD
– new machinery and equipment for the investment site for KIFISIA IKE
– vehicle for "AniMAR-KL" EOOD
– vehicle for KIFISIA IKE;
– 1 software for "AniMAR-KL" EOOD
